A perfect book for all levels of knitting experience. Cute aliens that knit up quickly and more realistic astronauts, enough to tempt new knitters and experienced alike. Good clear instructions and inviting photos.

Lovely collection of patterns with a space theme. My 5 year old is currently space-obsessed and already requested I knit her an astronaut. The book has lots of pictures and the patterns are clear. Look forward to knitting some bits from it.

This book is full of fantastic characters featuring step-by-step instructions on how to sew, stuff and embroider the features. A fantastic book which covers everything a child could love and learn about space and planets. As the book says take your knitting to infinity and beyond. I will enjoy knitting these characters for my grandchildren.

This book is full of UFOs - Uniquely Fabulous Objects! Search Press have done it again! Another superb book with plenty of projects suitable for people just starting to knit and advanced patterns for the more experienced knitters.
Ideal for using up those left over pieces of wool that may come in handy one day and with minimal equipment, an army of aliens can be amassed in an afternoon. The instructions are clear and photos show each stage of the assembly process.
I imagine all small - and maybe some not so small - people will love playing with the lovely little creatures, spacecraft and UFOs made from this book.

Wow, some of the projects really are tiny, made the penguin which is a dinky 4cm! A great way to use up those odds and ends left over from other projects. All use DK and 4ply but I guess you could scale them up.
The book takes the usually format; tools & materials, some knitting info/tips, abbreviations and a fairly detailed bit on construction, all accompanied by lovely pictures and illustrations. Next come the projects, and there are lots, all written in simple terms, and only using knit and purl! The more in depth patterns have some traceable templates in the back for cardboard reinforcement.
Aliens, people and space animals, rockets, UFOs, even a satellite and moon buggy! All adorable and fun!
As they're all knitted flat (and small) I found them quite quick to make although some bits a tiny bit fiddly to sew on due to the size, made easier by some well placed glass headed pins.
Perfect for anyone just getting in to toy making or someone wanting a quick scrap buster project, I was surprised at how creative the projects were despite the simplicity and it certainly won't break the bank! And your kids will love them!
