An invaluable book for anyone who wants or does sew. The book takes you through all the skills and techniques you need to know and then offers you projects to practice your new found skills. Whether you are new to sewing or you just want to expand your knowledge, this book offers fantastic value for money. It's jam packed with so much information. I love the fact that this book is hard backed so will last a long time with a lot of wear and tear. It's spiral bound so it means that you can keep it easily open at the page you need. The projects that you are supplied with to practice your new skills are beautiful, practical and perfect for your home or as gifts.

The projects are varied using all the different techniques. I only received my first sewing machine as a Christmas Present this year and this book has taken the fear out of using it. I am learning so much and I love the fact that I can quickly flick to the technique I need to learn about and soon find that the book makes me at ease with it.  Each of the techniques discussed and each of the projects come with clear and easy to understand instructions as well as really easy to follow pictures. This book is fantastic value for money. I already find it invaluable and keep it on hand whenever I start a new sewing project.
