Beautiful book, filled with a comprehensive guide on how to achieve a beautiful infilled papercut. A really delightful book for browsing through and has projects that a novice through to a more practised papercutter would find enjoyable.
Customer review
I absolute loved this book. It was perfect for both beginner and experienced papercutters. It starts by explaining everything you need to know about equipment and techniques. I love how this is a hobby everyone can have a go at without spending a fortune on materials. Everything is broken down into simple manageable steps. I have papercut before but I am not great at curves and this book has given me some pointers to try! Unlike a lot of similar books this one teaches you how to add colour to your papercuts which is a brilliant idea to match the pictures to your colour scheme in your house or to personalise it even further. I was particularly impressed with the final chapter about designing your own templates to cut. It is something I have always imagined to be too difficult in the past but I am certainly encouraged now to give it a go myself. It would be the perfect way to immortalise an idyllic summer holiday memory. But, even if you don't want to design your own this book is perfect to trace the designs and get stuck in. Overall a charming and well thought out book that I would warmly recommend.

Papercut Landscapes by Sarah King is a simply stunning, well-structured and colourful book, with very clear step-by-step instructions. It takes you through what materials you need, papercutting techniques, bringing the cuts to life with colour infills and how to display and frame the final product. There is an inspiring section which gives tips on how to develop your own ideas from photographs, so that you can achieve your own unique artwork. There are also many of Sarah King's beautiful templates included, to practise on. All in all I would recommend this book to any papercutting enthusiast, in a heartbeat.

Paper is a big passion of mine and when I saw this book I knew I just had to have a go.
The designs are amazing...I adored the balloon projects.
Sarah King is a master papercrafter and she shares her techniques, giving us a one-on-one tutorial in every aspect of papercutting.
This craft is explained in detail, everything you need to know is all in this book, which includes a guide of what you will need to get started.
The 'templates' are stunning, and simple. but the finished effect of each design is absolutely brilliant.
There is good advice on how to make your own pictures from photographs or by free hand and what I especially loved was that this is a craft that is affordable and doesn't use vast amounts of 'stuff' to create something beautiful.
This is not a craft for children, due to the use of craft knives.. but there is no reason why they cannot share the joy of paper piecing and learning along with you.
