Get organized with these sixteen different bags and purses, many of which are designed to fit into your hand or shoulder bag and keep your small items easy to locate. There are patterns in here for a wallet, key ring, glasses case, bag organizer, tablet cover, phone case and makeup bag to name a few, and if you can bear to part with them they also make great gifts.
You don't need a lot of sewing experience to make the items either; just the basics of working a sewing machine and the techniques associated with making simple bags. At the front is a list of what you need plus a section of basic skills dealing with the sewing machine and making neat seams, putting in a zipper, adding piping and snipping curves etc. The projects themselves have written instructions only, so you need to be beyond the staged photograph level, but none of the bags are very large or complex. Each project has a page-sized photograph of the item plus a cutting list, level of difficulty, size and reference to whatever pattern pieces you need. These are at the back of the book all numbered and full size so no tricky resizing is needed. All the pieces are in a cheerful modern style and are a great way to keep essential items safe and available, as well as being a good way in many cases of using up leftovers from other projects. I think my favorite is the pencil case, ideal for the colorist on the go!
