Colouring-in is a creative hobby that is cheap, portable and fun. It provides a welcome distraction from the stresses and strains of modern life, and you need no special skills to do it. Suitable for adults as well as children, this inspiring book contains over 100 Celtic designs for you to colour in, with coloured versions of some of the drawings provided for inspiration.
More and more adults and older children are turning to colouring; a hobby that is nostalgic, creative and therapeutic all at the same time. The Celtic Colouring Book provide beautiful Celtic designs to colour that are a step beyond children's favourites. The paper is perfect for colouring using marker pens, coloured pencils, crayons or paints, and the designs are printed on just one side of the paper to avoid show-through. There are small, simple motifs that are perfect for colouring in when you have just a few minutes to spare, as well as more absorbing projects for when you have more time. At the front of the book are some ready-coloured images to inspire you, and if you want to colour a favourite image again, they can all be downloaded as PDFs from our website www.searchpress.com. Those who prefer to work onscreen can scan the images from the book and use their favourite software to colour them. Whether you colour for relaxation or wish to incorporate the pictures into larger, more creative projects, there is something for everyone in this beautiful book.
Note: The designs used in this book were previously published as Celtic Borders & Motifs, in the Design Source Book series (published by Search Press, 2005).

Colouring isn't just for children anymore! This book proves it. The first part of the book is filled with ready coloured designs to give you examples of how the designs can by coloured. The designs are classic and amazing. The way the patterns are brought together to give you an amazing Celtic look but with an up to date design. The rest of the book is packed full of designs for you to colour. Each of the designs is on one page and the reverse is blank. This means once you've completed them you can cut them out and use the design how you like. It's amazing how relaxing and meditive colouring is. I love just getting the book out in the evening and relaxing. As you can see I used one of the designs to decorate my husbands card for his birthday. I think the designs would look really good on multiple things. They'd also be brilliant to use for wood burning. There are so many different designs for you. They have different themes for different times of the year. There are different sizes of design so lots for you to choose from! You'll be seeing more of these designs as I put them to good use.
